The package includes a wireless 802.11ac standard access point (TL-WPA7517 WiFi Powerline Extender) and a 1300 Mbps powerline Ethernet adapter (TL-PA7017). The models use MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology for data transmission. This technology utilizes all three wires (line, neutral, and ground) together to enable peak speed. HomePlug AV2 compatible adapters offer 1000 Mbps transmission speed over the powerline and up to 750 Mbps wireless speed. 128-bit AES encryption secures network traffic from outsiders with the push of a button.

The TL-WPA7517 device features a WiFi Clone button that simplifies installation. This means it automatically copies your router’s SSID and password. When you press the button, you can place the powerline adapter wherever you want wired or wireless network access. The WiFi Auto-Sync function allows the wireless network created by the adapters to follow the access point’s network, enabling, for example, the adapter to turn off and on according to the access point’s schedule. The LED lights can also follow this schedule.
