It operates on three frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, offering maximum speeds of 688 Mbps, 4300 Mbps, and 5800 Mbps respectively. Six spatial streams enable efficient MU-MIMO support, improving performance with multiple simultaneous users. Additionally, the access point supports advanced features such as band steering, fast roaming (802.11r), hotspot 2.0 (Passpoint), and wireless mesh networking, all enhancing user experience and network management.
The device offers a single 10 GbE RJ45 port that also supports PoE+ power delivery, allowing power and data transmission over a single cable. The access point supports multiple Ethernet speeds (1, 2.5, 5, and 10 Gbps), making it compatible with various networks. VLAN support and speed limiting enable network management and security maintenance. Furthermore, the access point can manage up to eight BSSIDs per radio, providing flexibility for network segmentation.
The U7 Pro XG is designed for ceiling or wall mounting and comes with an installation kit. Its enclosure is made of metal and polycarbonate, ensuring durability and a sleek appearance. The device is lightweight (750 g) and measures Ø 206 x 32.5 mm. It withstands operation over a wide temperature range (-30 to 40 °C) and relative humidity (5 – 95%). LED indicators clearly show the device status, and a reset button simplifies maintenance.
The access point supports versatile security features such as Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK), RADIUS over TLS (RadSec) support, guest network isolation, and WiFi scheduling. It also allows user authentication via vouchers, passwords, or payment-based methods. The device is certified according to CE, FCC, and IC requirements, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
