Deco X10 is a whole-home Wi-Fi solution that keeps your network strong regardless of the size and structure of your home. The new generation ultra-fast 802.11ax WiFi system offers speeds up to 1500 Mbps for lag-free gaming, smooth 4K UHD video streaming, and extremely fast file sharing. The previous generation 802.11ac WiFi (WiFi 5) can only handle one device at a time on each network channel, which is not an efficient use of available bandwidth. The WiFi 6 standard’s OFDMA technology divides each channel into smaller subchannels, allowing multiple device signals to be combined and transmitted simultaneously. This reduces latency and provides the user with a smoother and more enjoyable Wi-Fi experience.

The device has two operating modes:

• Mesh router – The device functions as a wireless access point, router, and firewall, with the Internet connection established via an Ethernet cable.
