The TP-LINK Deco E4 system allows you to create a comprehensive WiFi network for your home or office. Connect the TP-LINK Deco E4 to, for example, your LTE, ADSL, or cable modem and enjoy surfing on a WiFi network that covers your entire apartment. The Deco E4 is suitable for locations where the maximum internet connection speed is 100 Mbps. For faster connections, we recommend WiFi systems equipped with a Gigabit port: Deco M4, Deco M5, Deco P9, Deco M9 Plus, Deco X60, or Deco X90.

Deco E4 is a whole-home Wi-Fi solution that keeps your network strong regardless of your home’s size and structure. With the Deco system, you create a comprehensive network for your home or office. The system uses a single network name and seamlessly switches connections between access points. Expanding the network is easy with Deco routers. You can connect 1-10 Deco routers to the network.

TP-Link’s Adaptive Path Selection automatically chooses the most direct route for all devices in your home based on the location of the Deco units. You always have the best possible connection wherever you are, all through a single SSID (network name).

TP-Link Parental Control enables easy scheduling, restriction, and management of connections.

Let Deco take care of the installation. Installing Deco is easy. Download the Android or iOS app and let Deco find the perfect spots for the access points. Network management is possible without a computer, for example, via a tablet or the Android or iOS app. With a clear user interface, even novice users can easily configure all network settings and monitor device status. A three-access-point system can cover up to 370 m² of space.

The device has two operating modes:

• Mesh router – The device functions as a wireless access point, router, and firewall, with the internet connection established via an Ethernet cable.
• Access point – The device is connected to an existing network with a cable and functions solely as an access point without routing or firewall functionality. Instructions here.
