The Aruba 510 series 802.11ax access points are designed to deliver performance in mobile and IoT environments with many users. The Aruba AP-515 access point supports all 802.11ax features, such as MU-MIMO, 4×4 MIMO with four streams on the 5 GHz band, and 2×2 MIMO with two streams. Channel width can be up to 160 MHz on the 5 GHz frequency and 40 MHz on the 2.4 GHz frequency, and the access point also supports 1024-QAM modulation. This achieves speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. A single access point supports up to 256 client devices per radio, whereas the typical number on the market is 150. The Aruba AP-515 is a perfect choice for schools, retail, hotels, or offices.
In addition to the features of the 802.11ax standard, the Aruba 510 series supports unique features such as Aruba ClientMatch radio, management and additional radio services, and IoT applications.
Access points can be installed both with and without a controller (Instant Mode). Instant Mode installations are easily transferable under a controller.
