The two omnidirectional 5 dBi antennas of this router minimize dead zones in the coverage area and provide the best possible performance on the network. With IP-based bandwidth management, each network device can be precisely allocated the bandwidth it uses. The router is easy to set up without a computer using the manufacturer’s own Tether app. The free app is available for Android and iOS devices. The device has three operating modes:

• Access Point – The device is connected to an existing network via cable and functions solely as an access point without routing or firewall functionality.
• Router – The device functions as a wireless access point, router, and firewall, with the Internet connection established via Ethernet cable.
• WiFi Extender – The device wirelessly connects to any existing wireless network and begins functioning as an access point for the same wireless network, thereby extending the original network’s range.
