The package includes a wireless 802.11ac standard access point (TL-WPA7617 WiFi Powerline Extender) and a 1000 Mbps powerline Ethernet adapter (TL-PA7017P). HomePlug AV2 compatible adapters provide 1000 Mbps transfer speed over the powerline and up to 1200 Mbps wireless transfer speed. 128-bit AES encryption secures network traffic from outsiders with the push of a button.

The TL-WPA7617 device features a WiFi Clone button that simplifies installation. This means it automatically copies the SSID and your router’s password. When you press the button, you can place the powerline adapter wherever you want wired or wireless network access. The Wifi Auto-Sync function allows the wireless network created by the adapters to follow the access point’s network, enabling it to, for example, turn off and on according to the access point’s schedule. The LED lights can also follow this scheduling.
