The device has two operating modes:

• Access Point – The device connects to an existing network via cable and functions solely as an access point without routing or firewall functionality.
• Universal Repeater – The device wirelessly connects to any existing wireless network and acts as an access point for the same wireless network, thereby extending the original network’s range.
