The Aruba 510 series 802.11ax access points are crafted to deliver exceptional performance in mobile and IoT environments with a high density of users. The Aruba AP-515 access point supports all 802.11ax features, including MU-MIMO, 4×4 MIMO with four streams on the 5 GHz band, and 2×2 MIMO with two streams. With a channel width of up to 160 MHz on the 5 GHz frequency and 40 MHz on the 2.4 GHz frequency, this access point also supports 1024-QAM modulation. This allows for speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. A single access point can support up to 256 client devices per radio, while the typical market standard is around 150. The Aruba AP-515 is an excellent choice for schools, retail stores, hotels, or offices.
In addition to the features of the 802.11ax standard, the Aruba 510 series includes unique offerings such as Aruba ClientMatch radio, management and add-on radio services, and IoT applications.
Access points can be installed with or without a controller (Instant Mode). Instant Mode installations are easily transferable under a controller.
