This cascara, or coffee cherry husk, is obtained from naturally processed coffee cherries. This means that the coffee cherry has been dried whole in the sun, and then the husk has been mechanically removed from the coffee beans. Hence the more affordable price and slightly crushed raw material. In the flavor of this cascara, you can find plum notes, black tea, and even a “green”-tasting herbal quality.
