The Behringer MS-5 is an analog synthesizer with 37 full-size keys, two analog oscillators, two multi-mode signal filters, two voltage-controlled amplifiers, two LFOs, 2 envelopes, and ring modulation.

The MS-5 is based on two analog oscillators with four switchable waveforms, adjustable pulse width, and autotune. It includes classic 24 dB multi-mode diode filters as well as a band-pass filter with resonance for creating truly complex sounds. The ring modulator with LFO control and external input offers rich, metallic textures.

The device features an audio input for processing external sound sources and two stereo outputs that provide high signal integrity. It also includes two pedal inputs for controlling filter cutoff and oscillator pitch, CV/Gate input and output for connecting external devices, and a comprehensive MIDI implementation with MIDI channel and Voice Priority selection.
