PLANET XT-705A on 10 Gigabitin mediamuunnin, jossa on RJ-45-kupariportin lisäksi yksi SFP+ modulipaikka. Modulipaikkaanhalutun tyyppinen SFP+ moduli, jolloin laitteesta saadaan 10G kuitumuunnin halutun tyyppiselle kuidulle. Muunnin voidaan asentaa myös PLANET MC-1500/1500R, MC-700 ja MC- 1000MR kehikkoon.
