LP50 now supports multiple password settings (administrator and user) in complex password and passphrase modes. The complex password mode allows passwords 6\u201316 characters long, using three of the four character sets. The new passphrase mode enables PIN codes, phrases, word lists, or even passphrases 10\u201364 characters long, which can be, for example, lyrics from a specific song. The administrator can enable the user password or reset the user password to recover data access. To facilitate password entry, an eye icon can be enabled, allowing the user to see the entered password. This reduces typing errors that lead to failed login attempts. The brute-force protection feature locks the user password if the password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row and cryptographically wipes the drive if the administrator password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row. Additionally, the built-in virtual keyboard protects passwords from keylogger and screenlogger malware.<\/p>\n
