The Canon EOS R8 is equipped with the same 24-megapixel sensor and processor as the Canon R6 Mark II. In terms of image quality, video features, and autofocus, this camera is comparable to the EOS R6 Mark II. There are some differences, such as the absence of image stabilization and a smaller battery capacity and battery life. It features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus, which is top of its class and allows autofocus to work in very low light (-6.5 EV with an f\/1.2 lens). The autofocus also includes modern eye and face detection, which works excellently in both video and photo modes. The OLED viewfinder and fully articulating screen make shooting easier.<\/p>\n
