Made from biopolymer fibers, this cutting board is dishwasher safe and doesn\u2019t require the sanding or oiling that traditional solid wood boards do.<\/p>\n<p>This board is notably thinner than traditional wooden boards and may feel a bit firm at first, but don\u2019t worry\u2014it softens quickly with use and is much kinder to your knife&#8217;s edge compared to plastic cutting boards. Plus, the heat resistance of compressed wood fibers is significantly higher than that of conventional wooden boards, making it safe to use as a trivet as well. Our biopolymer boards are NSF certified, meaning they meet strict hygiene standards.
