It assesses the electrode connection and the patient&#8217;s ECG to determine if defibrillation is necessary. The shockable rhythms include ventricular fibrillation with an average amplitude of &gt; 100 microvolts and broad, complex ventricular tachycardia (heart rate over 150 in adults, 200 in children).<\/p>\n<p>With an automatic self-test feature, it checks the battery capacity, electrode connection, ECG and charging circuits, microprocessor hardware and software, CPR circuits, CPR-D sensor, and audio circuit.
