The adorable Zazu Davy knows how to really close its eyes and only opens them when it’s time to wake up. Children learn about their sleep rhythm by following the changing colors of the dog’s clock display and its moving eyes. If the clock face is still red and the dog’s eyes are closed, it’s time to close their own eyes and continue dreaming. Half an hour before waking up, the clock changes to an orange color. As the scheduled wake-up time approaches, the dog’s eyes open and the clock face turns green—it’s time to wake up! For those already familiar with telling time, Zazu Davy also offers both analog and digital time displays. The clock features a traditional alarm sound that can be switched between three different tones. The illuminated clock face is visible in the dark and also serves as a night light.

Three Phases of the Alarm Clock

1. Eyes Closed

• When it’s time to go to sleep, Davy the dog closes its eyes and the clock face lights up red.

2. Just a Little Longer

• 30 minutes before waking up, the clock face turns orange.

3. Finally!

• Davy the dog opens its eyes and the clock face turns green.
