The Witt Nitro 55 BN black integrated 55 cm wide range hood is a minimalist solution when space is limited. The hood is made of black lacquered steel. The black glass front gives a unique look to any kitchen. The range hood can be controlled either with the NoTouch function, where you don’t need to touch the hood, or with the included remote control, which is also magnetic – attach it to the range hood so you always know where the remote is.
NoTouch is a new smart way to control your range hood without touching it. With simple hand gestures, you can control various functions of your range hood: turning it on/off, adjusting the fan power, lights, etc. It’s much easier (and more hygienic) to keep the range hood clean, and you don’t have to worry about the remote control either.
You can install the range hood for recirculation using a separately purchased filter or connect the hood directly to a duct. When used for recirculation, the hood uses machine-washable High Performance reusable filters. It is recommended to wash the reusable filters once a month along with the grease filters. After washing, the High Performance filters are dried in the oven. The reusable filters have a lifespan of up to 2 years!
The 55 cm wide range hood can be easily installed in a 60 cm wide kitchen cabinet. The distance between the bottom edge of the hood and the cooktop must be at least 45 cm when using an induction or ceramic cooktop. When using a gas cooktop, the distance must be at least 60 cm.
The very powerful brushless 655 m³/h motor effectively cleans indoor air from cooking fumes. Besides fast smoke removal, the powerful motor is also beneficial when used at low speeds. The advantages of a brushless motor are undeniable: quieter operation, lower energy consumption, and better durability compared to traditional motors. Removing just steam requires little effort from the powerful motor, so the range hood is very quiet at low settings. When frying food, the powerful motor removes odors in no time.
The hood is also equipped with Dynamic LED lighting, where you can change the light tone. The advantage is that you get good “work lighting” when preparing food, or you can dim the light’s color/tone to create a cozy atmosphere. The hood is easy to use, conveniently operated by simply waving your hand or with the included remote control. You can choose from four different power levels; the quietest setting is sufficient for removing steam, and full power is used during frying.
