Themo is a digital smart thermostat that takes into account not only your home’s heating profile but also the electricity market price and weather forecast. Themo connects to a wireless WiFi network, and operation and control are possible directly via Android and iOS devices.
Themo is a smart thermostat connected to a wireless network that considers the price development of electricity according to the Nordpool electricity market price table for floor heating. With an intelligent heating program (weekly schedule) and a machine-learning algorithm, power supply is directed to affordable hours, and the floor is scheduled to be warm according to users’ needs. However, Themo is also well suited for consumers who prefer fixed-price electricity contracts, as it learns to create an optimal heating schedule based on price and heating needs. The thermostat can also utilize weather forecasts to anticipate heating requirements.

Themo can also be used without a Wi-Fi connection, but in this case, Themo functions like a normal thermostat. The sales package does not include a floor sensor.
Depending on the electricity contract, Themo can reduce the heating bill for floor heating by up to €8/m² per year (average savings with market electricity 32.5%, fixed-price contract 20%). It reduces the carbon footprint by an average of 25.3 kg per square meter annually.
