This game designed for Nintendo Switch 2 combines adventure, cooperation, and competition in a way that suits both solo and multiplayer play. New areas, challenges, and game modes provide variety and deepen the gaming experience.
Bellabel Park is a new area where you can play local multiplayer with up to three friends. The local Multiplayer Plaza features 17 different attractions where players can cooperate or compete. Additionally, Game Room Plaza supports both online and local wireless play, allowing up to 12 players to participate in six extra attractions from their own devices.
Toad Brigade Training Camp offers a wide range of challenges where you can develop your skills across different levels. The exercises can be completed solo or in groups of up to four players. Assist Mode makes the game more accessible for new players by allowing quick recovery from falls and avoiding damage, making the game easier for players of all skill levels.
Rosalina makes her debut in the Flower Kingdom alongside Co-Star Luma. Luma assists players by spinning and flowering enemies as well as collecting coins, and it can be controlled using the Nintendo Switch 2’s mouse control. Additionally, the seven Koopalings characters bring challenge to the game as their stolen treasures must be found and they must be confronted in their own levels.
The game includes various minigames such as Fast Cash: Tip Tap’s Coin Spree and Knock ’em Back: Bubble Blaster, where players can compete by collecting coins or trying to survive the longest. The GameShare feature allows the game owned by one player to be shared locally with others, making it easier to start multiplayer sessions.
