The H13 True HEPA filter effectively removes unwanted airborne particles in the home through four different filtration stages. The H13 True HEPA filtration process is based on four phases. It consists of a pre-filter, a NanoGuard™ filter, an activated carbon filter, and an internal filter. The filter lifespan is approximately 6–12 months, depending on how much the air purifier has been used and exposed to polluted air.

• The second filtration process consists of the NanoGuard™ filter, which cleans the air of particles as small as 0.1 μm, achieving 99.99% efficiency. NanoGuard™ also purifies the air from airborne particles like dust, pollen, bacteria, mold, and other harmful substances.
• The third filtration stage consists of an activated carbon layer that neutralizes air from volatile organic compounds (TVOCs). The carbon filter neutralizes invisible smoke odors, viruses, and formaldehyde in the air, which can cause several serious health effects.
• Last but not least, the final filtration consists of an internal filter that removes residual particles not filtered out in the previous stages.
