Powerful Shimano four-piston hydraulic disc brake. Increases stopping power for mountain or electric bikes. Brake lever BL-MT501 and brake caliper BR-MT520.
J-kit, meaning the hose is detached from the lever allowing easy shortening and internal routing. If you do not shorten the hose, you can simply push the hose firmly into the lever and tighten the connector with an 8 mm wrench. The connector must be tightened carefully to ensure a sealed connection. If you shorten the hose, first install a new brass “pin” at the hose end and then make the connection as described above. Usually, the brake does not need bleeding after connecting the hose. Never press the brake lever before connecting the hose.
