Wiser is a smart home system that enhances home comfort, safety, and energy efficiency affordably and easily. The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be wirelessly controlled in different ways. With the Wiser mobile app, convenient scenario controls, scheduling, or automations based on weather changes can be created. The devices also communicate with each other, allowing home functions to be automated without user attention.
PowerTag Energy is a wirelessly communicating energy sensor designed for energy management in both new constructions and renovation projects. Together with the Wiser central unit, PowerTag Energy monitors real-time home energy consumption up to 63 A. The device can be installed in the central unit in just minutes.
When wirelessly connected to the Wiser system, PowerTag enables additional features such as tracking market electricity and using automations (available Q3/2023).
Wiser automation conditions can also use data measured by PowerTag, such as: load status (on/off), instantaneous total power (W), daily consumption (over X kWh), and monthly consumption (over X kWh).
Full use of Schneider Electric’s Wiser system requires a central unit (CCT501901, Matter-certified), the Wiser by SE mobile app, a user account, and an internet connection. The system usage is free of charge. The device is intended for indoor use.
It is recommended to install one PowerTag in the app, which appears as the “Electric Grid” – the home’s total consumption meter. Additional PowerTags can be added under this to measure other groups.
Installation must only be performed by an authorized electrician.
