Wiser is a smart home system that increases home comfort, safety, and energy efficiency affordably and easily. The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be controlled wirelessly in different ways. With the Wiser mobile app, convenient scenario controls, scheduling, or automations based on weather changes can be made. The devices also communicate with each other, allowing home functions to be automated without user attention.
PowerTag Energy is a wireless energy sensor designed for energy management in both new constructions and renovation projects. Together with the Wiser central unit, PowerTag Energy monitors the home’s real-time energy consumption up to 63 A. Installing the device to the central unit can be done in minutes.
When wirelessly connected to the Wiser system, PowerTag enables additional features such as market electricity monitoring and the use of automations (available Q3/2023).
PowerTag’s measured data can also be used as conditions for Wiser automations, such as: load status (on/off), instantaneous total power (W), daily consumption (over X kWh), and monthly consumption (over X kWh).
Complete use of Schneider Electric’s Wiser system requires a central unit (CCT501901, Matter-certified), the Wiser by SE mobile app, a user account, and an internet connection. The system use is free of charge. The device is intended for indoor use.
It is recommended to install one PowerTag in the app, which appears as the “Electric Grid” – a meter for the home’s total consumption. Additional PowerTags can be added under this to measure other groups.
Installation must be performed only by a certified electrician.
