The Wiser switch module by Schneider Electric, designed for installation in a flush-mounted box, transforms a traditional switch into a smart one. This allows adding intelligence to any furniture series switch, provided it can be converted to a push button with an impulse spring. The same load/relay module can be controlled by ten different spring buttons. If you want to smartly control lighting on an outdoor terrace using various scenarios and timers, you can install an IP44 switch with a smart relay module behind it in a flush-mounted box. For example, if wiring the switches is not feasible for some reason, you can install the Wiser relay module in the ceiling box near the light fixture and only place a wireless button on the wall. The solution does not require a central unit to operate. It can be used as a traditional switch or controlled wirelessly.

Wiser is an evolving smart home system that is easy to install and customize according to each home’s needs and preferences. Wiser allows home residents to use their smartphone as a home controller via the Wiser by SE app. Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri services. All devices connected to the home are visible and manageable in the Wiser by SE app. The open and certified Zigbee 3.0 ensures expandability with third-party devices – certification guarantees compatibility. This widely used standard includes over 450 manufacturers. Devices made by SE can also be used in other applications. The solution can be easily expanded later, for example, with new SE devices.

Note: Full use of Schneider Electric’s Wiser system requires the Wiser smart home system central unit, the Wiser by SE smartphone app, a user account, and an internet connection. The system usage is free of charge.
