The Samyang AF 35-150MM offers a large aperture, which is f/2 at the wide-angle end and f/2.8 at the telephoto end. It covers five popular focal lengths: 35, 50, 85, 135, and 150 mm. The optical design consists of 21 elements in 18 groups, including 2 ASP, 1 HB, 3 H-ASP, and 6 ED elements. This ensures excellent optical performance across the entire zoom range.
The UMC (Ultra Multi-Coating) coating reduces reflections and ghosting, producing natural and clear images. The large aperture helps separate the subject from the background, and the 9 rounded aperture blades create a smooth bokeh effect.
The linear stepper motor (STM) is fast and sensitive, suitable for both photographers and videographers. STM provides excellent focus tracking and smooth transitions. In video recording, AF speed is precisely adjustable, and the lens performs well in manual focus. The digital parfocal design makes focusing easier during video shooting.
