RuuviTag Pro is a durable wireless measuring device designed and manufactured in Finland for versatile conditions. It measures temperature, humidity/pressure, and motion (detects when it is moved) with high accuracy.
RuuviTag Pro is based on the reliable design of RuuviTag. Its new pro features enable even more precise measurements in more challenging conditions. RuuviTag Pro is the most durable open-source sensor on the market.
How it works
The RuuviTag Pro sensor transmits temperature, humidity/pressure, motion, and battery voltage data every 2.5 seconds. The sensor does not require a hub or gateway to operate – a compatible Android or iOS device and the free Ruuvi mobile app downloaded from the app store are sufficient.
When you are within Bluetooth range, you can monitor the sensor’s real-time measurement data using the Ruuvi app. If you temporarily move out of Bluetooth range, you can synchronize the measurement results from the past 10 days to the app once you return.
All measurement results are updated in a graph, allowing you to clearly see changes such as temperature variations. In the app, you can set alert thresholds and personalized messages that appear as push notifications on your device if the set minimum or maximum values are exceeded.

What to measure?
Ruuvi sensors can be used almost anywhere, limited only by your imagination. Use cases include buildings: detached houses, apartments, summer cottages, offices, outbuildings, suspended ceilings, and cold storage rooms. In hobbies, you can monitor conditions for animals, greenhouses, caravans, strollers, or hot tub water temperature. Place the RuuviTag Pro in a sauna and receive an immediate notification when the desired temperature is reached. The app can also send a warning if the connection to the sensor is lost and it is no longer within range.
You can have virtually unlimited Ruuvi meters in use, and through the app, it’s easy to select the data from the desired sensor. The same sensor’s data can be viewed from multiple devices.
Tip: expand to remote access
If you want to see measurement results even when you are out of Bluetooth range, remote monitoring is possible with the Ruuvi Gateway and an internet connection. The Gateway enables an uninterrupted connection and sharing of sensors over the internet among multiple users. The internet connection also allows for email alerts.
