The device features an accurate and stable feeding mechanism that supports scanning of thin and thick papers as well as plastic cards. Plastic ID cards and application forms can be scanned together effortlessly.

• Login authentication: Strictly controls what users can do with the scanner.
• Encryption: Scanned data is encrypted and temporarily stored in the scanner when being processed for email, fax, printing, or saving.
• Data transfer protection: Supports strong security protocols such as LDAPS, HTTPS, and FTPS.
• Deletion of scanned data: Temporary storage of scanned data is automatically deleted after being sent by email, faxed, printed, or saved to a network folder.
• Secure initialization: When the N7100E is initialized, free areas of the internal memory can be overwritten completely with random and meaningless data. After deleting user data, a new encryption key is created. This ensures that old user data cannot be recovered from memory.

Users can customize the “task button” in the task menu. After logging in, they can select their personal task menu from the options. The customized task menu ensures efficient and decentralized data input.

Personal applications with SDK support

User applications can be integrated into the scanner as additional software using the Network Scanner Control SDK (for Windows® operating system). Added applications appear in the task menu.
