The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono builds on the successful T1 model’s design, bringing improvements in sound quality and construction that challenge audiophile-level turntables in its class.
The foundation of the T2 Super Phono is a larger CNC-machined chassis made from high-quality materials, completely free of plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a sturdy structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier to achieve more stable speed and higher quality playback. The 9″ aluminum tonearm features updated low-friction precision bearings designed with increased length and diameter in mind. Topping it off is the factory-installed and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with an elliptical stylus: this high-quality cartridge combined with an excellent phono preamp provides enjoyable playback of vinyl records. Additionally, the Super Phono model includes an exceptionally high-quality, dual-stage passive MM phono preamp that can also be switched off.
As is customary, it features an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connectors, and a Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable designed specifically for turntable use and effectively shielded from interference.
