The Pro-Ject T2 builds on the popular T1 model’s design, bringing improvements in sound quality and structure without the price soaring to new heights: a new standard for audiophile-level turntables in this price range is here.
The T2 is based on a larger CNC-machined chassis made from high-quality materials, completely free of plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a sturdy structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier for more stable speed and higher-quality playback. The 9″ aluminum tonearm features updated low-friction precision bearings designed with increased length and diameter in mind. Topping it all off is a factory-installed and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with an elliptical stylus: such a high-quality cartridge combined with an excellent turntable preamp offers enjoyable playback from vinyl records.
As is customary, it includes an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connectors, and a specially designed, effectively shielded Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable.
