You can control the Hue Bloom lamp in your home directly via Bluetooth without a Hue Bridge. A dedicated Hue app is available for Bluetooth control*). For remote control of the lamp, the Philips Hue system’s mesh network router, the Hue Bridge (product 277763), is also required. By connecting the lamp to the Hue Bridge, you gain endless lighting possibilities and can control the lamp via smartphone or tablet using the Philips Hue app. You will also need a smartphone or tablet, the smartphone app, and a Philips Hue starter kit or Hue Bridge for use.
