The Petzl IKO is here to revolutionize headlamp design! With its convenient AIRFIT headband and a light source made up of multiple LEDs, this headlamp provides a smooth and even beam of light. It runs on the rechargeable Petzl Core lithium-ion battery (included in the package) or directly on three AAA batteries. Using the rechargeable battery quickly becomes more cost-effective than using disposable batteries, especially with frequent use, and it performs excellently even in low temperatures. The battery is positioned at the back of the head for an even weight distribution. Weighing in at just 79 grams, this headlamp is comfortable enough for extended wear.
This headlamp features two different lighting modes: the FLOOD mode for a wide and even illumination area, and the MIXED mode for a more focused beam. Switching between light beams is a breeze with the button located on the underside of the light unit.
The micro-USB charging port is conveniently located on the battery itself, allowing you to charge a spare battery (available separately) while using another battery or AAA batteries in the headlamp.
