The MXR Standard cable is a guitar cable designed around a pure copper conductor. The cable’s capacitance is optimized, so the sound of passive pickups remains big and rich. Around the core is a copper shielding to protect the signal from interference and hum. To reduce handling noise, there is both internal insulation and an external PVC jacket, and carefully selected materials also improve the cable’s flexibility.
