The Marmitek ARC13 is a very compact device that is installed between the TV’s HDMI ARC connection and active speakers (or a power amplifier and passive speakers). With this converter, you can connect, for example, Genelec active speakers directly to the TV’s HDMI ARC input. Thanks to CEC support, the speaker volume control is handled with the TV remote control. The ARC13 also includes a headphone jack, which is surprisingly missing from many modern TVs.
Note: Does not support eARC return channel; when watching Yle channels, the TV’s audio output may need to be set to PCM or Stereo.
