If your grill features a hose connection instead of a screw-on fitting, simply cut the hose at the screw-on connection point, slide it onto the hose barb, and secure it with the included hose clamp.
According to new legislation, low-pressure regulator valves now contain a ball that stops the gas flow when not connected to a device. This ball can easily stay in place during storage and may require a good shake to start functioning in some cases.
