The IronKey Vault Privacy 50 is a top-tier USB flash drive that delivers enterprise-level security.
The VP50 series features FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode, protection against BadUSB with digitally signed firmware, and safeguards against Brute Force password attacks. The Vault Privacy 50 drives are also TAA compliant.
The administrator can enable user and one-time recovery passwords or reset the user password to regain access to the data. The Brute Force attack protection locks the user or one-time passwords after 10 consecutive incorrect entries and encrypts the drive if the Admin password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row.
To protect against potential malware on trusted systems, both the administrator and user can set the flash drive to read-only mode; additionally, the built-in virtual keyboard shields passwords from keylogger and screenlogger malware.
