The Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 USB flash drive brings consumer-level security features right to your fingertips. With device-based AES encryption in XTS mode, protection against BadUSB attacks via digitally signed firmware, and safeguards against brute force attacks, your data is well-protected. Plus, the LP50 is TAA compliant, making it a reliable choice for a variety of users.
Now featuring a multi-password setup (administrator and user), the LP50 enhances your security with complex password protection and passphrase modes. The complex password mode allows for passwords ranging from 6 to 16 characters, utilizing three out of four character sets. The new passphrase mode enables the use of a PIN, a phrase, a word list, or even a passphrase of 10 to 64 characters—perfect for those who might want to use lyrics from their favorite song. The administrator can enable or reset the user’s password to regain access to the data. To make entering passwords easier, there’s an eye icon feature that lets users view the typed password, reducing typos that could lead to failed login attempts. Additionally, the brute force protection feature locks the user password after 10 consecutive incorrect attempts and cryptographically wipes the drive if the administrator password is entered incorrectly 10 times. The built-in virtual keyboard further protects passwords from keylogger and screenlogger malware.
