The Keychron Q3 HE is a wireless 80% TKL-sized gaming keyboard equipped with innovative Hall Effect Gateron 2.0 magnetic switches. The keyboard offers fast and precise response with adjustable actuation points that can be customized to your preferences. The Q3 HE combines versatile connectivity options such as USB Type-C, 2.4 GHz wireless connection, and Bluetooth 5.2, along with a durable aluminum frame and high-quality PBT keycaps.
The Q3 HE switches are based on a dual-rail design and are pre-lubricated, ensuring stability and a smooth feel. Sensitivity can be adjusted with 0.1 mm precision between actuation points of 0.2–3.8 mm. This allows you to speed up key activation or make it more precise for gaming use. Additionally, the switches support dynamic fast trigger, enabling smooth chaining of repeated key presses.
Up to four different functions can be programmed per key based on the depth of the press, adding flexibility to gaming scenarios. The open-source QMK firmware and Keychron Launcher app make it easy to remap keys, create macros, and set shortcuts.
The keyboard supports wireless 2.4 GHz connection with a 1000 Hz polling rate and Bluetooth 5.2, which can connect to three devices simultaneously. The USB Type-C port also allows wired use. The Q3 HE works with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, and includes modifier keys for different systems.
The entire frame is made from 6063 aluminum, enhancing durability and stability. The double-gasket design dampens sound and improves comfort. OSA-profile PBT keycaps are highly wear-resistant and do not fade quickly. Thanks to the hot-swap feature, switches can be easily replaced without soldering.
The multicolor RGB LED backlight is directed toward the front of the keyboard, improving illumination from the user’s perspective. Acoustic padding on the bottom enhances sound quality and reduces resonance, and the padding can be removed if desired for added flexibility.
