The Keychron K8 HE is a wireless 80% size gaming keyboard that combines a traditional mechanical keyboard with new magnetic switch technology. Its magnetic switches precisely measure the keystroke depth, allowing you to adjust the actuation point between 0.2–3.8 mm with 0.1 mm accuracy. The keyboard is suitable for both gaming and typing, offering versatile programming and customization options through QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web app.
The Keychron K8 HE uses pre-lubricated Gateron double-rail magnetic switches, which provide stable and fast response without the physical contacts of traditional mechanical switches. The magnetic switches detect keystroke depth with Hall effect sensors, enabling precise adjustment and faster reaction times in gaming situations.
The keyboard includes features such as Last Key Priority (LKP) and Snap Click, enhancing game control especially in FPS games. The Dynamic Rapid Trigger function responds to key movement without predefined points, allowing faster and more accurate presses. Additionally, Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS) lets you assign up to four different functions to a single key based on keystroke depth, and Analog Mode offers gamepad-like precision with variable inputs.
With the Keychron Launcher web app, you can customize key functions, lighting modes, and macros without separate installations. The keyboard works with multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, and features interchangeable keycaps for both systems.
