The glass dome of the Innolux Bulbo lamp softly filters the light. The lamp, designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape in the 1950s, was previously called the round onion and was a sales success at the time. This stunning lighting classic suits many spaces and interiors, whether installed alone or in groups.
Lisa Johansson-Pape began her career as a lighting designer in 1942 and designed several zeitgeist design lamps, among others for Stockmann-Orno. The materials used in the lamps included enameled metal, acrylic, and glass. Lisa Johansson-Pape’s works represented Finland in several international exhibitions from the 1930s onward. At the Milan Triennale in 1951, her lamps received a silver medal, and at the 1954 Triennale, a gold medal. Johansson-Pape was awarded the Pro Finlandia medal in 1957.
