The HoverAir Aqua Basic Combo is a waterproof drone specifically designed for water navigation and capturing footage near water. This device enables smooth and effortless filming both on the water surface and underwater, without worrying about the drone getting wet or damaged. It is ideal for water sports, beach exploration, and long lake days, offering users freedom and versatile filming opportunities.
Aqua is equipped with over 10 automatic flight modes, such as Follow, Orbit, and Bird’s Eye, making flying easy and versatile. Special water sports modes, including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and surfing modes, are optimized to produce smooth and cinematic footage near water. Advanced AI automatically tracks the subject, so the controller does not need to be used constantly. Additionally, the Lighthouse wristband provides precise RTK positioning, keeping the drone and user locations accurate to the centimeter, enabling precise tracking and easy control with the push of a button.
Aqua is fully waterproof and corrosion-resistant according to the IP67 rating, meaning it withstands waves, saltwater, and rain. The drone can take off and land directly on the water surface, so the user doesn’t have to worry about losing it. The floating design ensures the device stays on the surface even after landing, making it easy to use in water bodies without additional accessories.
The drone has a large 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor and a hydrophobic, fog-resistant lens optimized for marine conditions. The camera records 4K video at up to 100 fps for slow-motion playback and HDR video at up to 4K 60 fps, balancing bright and dark areas on reflective water surfaces. The internal 1-axis gimbal and electronic image stabilization ensure smooth and shake-free footage even in choppy conditions. Storage includes 128 GB of internal flash memory, so no separate memory card is needed.
Aqua reaches a top speed of up to 55 km/h and withstands wind at level 7, making it suitable for fast water sports like jet skiing and kiteboarding. The maximum flight time on a single battery is 23 minutes, and an additional battery is included to extend flight time. Battery charging is fast with the charging hub, which charges two batteries simultaneously in 85 minutes. The controller’s operating time is up to 5 hours, and the device can be used in temperatures from -5 °C to 40 °C.
