Housegard Pebble 10Y SA701 Smoke Alarm, Optical

Housegard Pebble 10 SA701 is an optical smoke alarm designed by Lars Wettren. The appearance of the Pebble is soft and aesthetically pleasing, allowing it to blend into any home. Pebble 10 is designed to be user-friendly. It features simple pause and test functions and is easy to clean. The smoke alarm's built-in lithium battery lasts for the entire 10-year lifespan – an extra safety factor that ensures you don’t have to worry about changing the battery. Pebble 10 comes with 3M adhesive tape, so the alarm can be easily mounted without drilling screws.

The optical smoke alarm is the most common type of smoke alarm and reacts quickly to smoldering fires and the smoke particles they produce. The optical sensor is sensitive to fine particles, so the smoke alarm should not be placed in locations where it may cause false alarms.

The smoke alarm should be tested once a week and replaced every ten years.
