The revamped Cerasafe® Triply saucepan is 100% PFAS-free, plastic-free, and ensures healthy cooking. HEIROL Cerasafe® Triply products feature a ceramic coating that is completely free of harmful PFAS chemicals for both people and nature, starting from the manufacturing processes. The product is durable for long-term use, making it a favorite among professionals.
High-quality, excellently heat-conductive three-layer construction. The body and handle are made of stainless steel, and the riveted handles are also suitable for oven use (max 200°C). The product is compatible with all stovetops, including induction.
The Cerasafe® Triply series is an eco-friendly bakeware collection: due to its excellent heat conductivity, it consumes very little energy, and thanks to the durable coating, the product lasts a long time. The coating does not contain PFAS chemicals.
An alternative to PTFE-based coatings containing PFAS chemicals is the PFAS-free sol-gel coating, whose main components are inorganic and organic salts of silicon dioxide, sodium silicate, and methyl trimethoxysilane, derived from the Earth’s second most abundant element, silicon, as well as water.
Sol-gel technology enables the production of environmentally friendly coatings on various materials at low temperatures, saving energy.
In January 2022, HEIROL signed the NO TO PFAS initiative by the environmental organization ChemSec as the FIRST Finnish entity. The initiative aims to phase out and ban several harmful fluorinated (PFAS) compounds—referred to as “forever chemicals” because they do not break down in nature.
