UNICORN OVERLORD or a Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth-style tactical role-playing game takes the player to the kingdom of Dagdan – a prosperous land ruled by gods, where warriors from all over the country compete in the Heroic Games for a chance to have one wish granted. The game follows four heroes, each with their own story and motive: a young boy Cai, the swordsman Dietrich, Queen Theodora, and musician Leda. The player chooses their favorite character and leads them to victory in the Heroic Games. Between matches, the player can strengthen their forces on training grounds, recruit new allies, or venture outside the walls of Dagsion to gain experience in battles and dungeons.

Four heroes and four stories

The player can choose from four heroes, each with their own background and goals:

• Cai – a young boy determined to win the games to save his imprisoned father
• Dietrich – a swordsman constantly seeking an opponent stronger than himself
• Theodora – a queen aiming to fulfill her homeland’s long-cherished dream
• Leda – a musician thirsting for revenge

Heroic Games and character development

Between matches, the player hones their techniques on training grounds, recruits new allies, or ventures outside the walls of Dagsion to gain experience in battles and dungeons. Each chosen character creates their own unique story as the game progresses.
