The Alta Hip Seat carrier offers a versatile and comfortable way to carry your baby or toddler. It frees your hands while providing solid support with one hand, making daily tasks like shopping or nap transitions easier. Designed for children aged 4 to 48 months, it supports weights from approximately 5,4 to 20 kg. The breathable SoftFlex™ mesh fabric and sturdy waist belt enhance comfort, and the carrier easily converts from a hip seat to a full carrier.
The Alta Hip Seat provides four carrying positions: front-facing inward or outward, hip seat carry on the side, and back carry. The hip seat function is ideal for shorter carrying periods at home, reducing strain on your hands and back. Switching to back carry is simple by attaching the included back panel with shoulder straps.
Made with breathable SoftFlex™ mesh fabric, the carrier improves airflow to keep both you and your child cooler. The padded and quiet waist belt adds to the comfort during use. The removable foam seat offers a stable and comfortable spot for your child to sit. All materials are 100% polyester without flame retardants.
The carrier is machine washable once the foam seat is removed and all Velcro and buckles are fastened. Use a mild detergent free of bleach, fragrances, or irritants. The waist belt adjusts up to 132 cm and should be worn slightly above the hips for optimal support.
The Alta Hip Seat is suitable for children with good head and neck control, generally starting around 4 months. Face-out carrying is recommended only once your child can hold their head steadily. When your child reaches about 6 months and can sit independently, back carry becomes an option. Prioritize your child’s comfort by switching carrying positions as needed.
The carrier includes a hood to protect your child from the sun or provide privacy during breastfeeding. Reflective details enhance visibility in low light conditions.
