The Eizo ColorEdge CG319X is equipped with a built-in sensor that can be set to calibrate the display automatically at specified times. This eliminates the need for a third-party calibration device and ensures that your display remains color-accurate. Additionally, the monitor features the latest sensor technology, allowing you to continue using it even during recalibration. The sensor occupies little space on the display, so your work remains uninterrupted. Color-critical work is not recommended during recalibration, as the display’s colors are being adjusted.
Large display and DCI 4K resolution
Whether you are creating, editing, or reviewing your work, this display offers plenty of space to focus on 4K content. With a dense 149 ppi, it is suitable not only for video editing but also for photo editing and printing. The ColorEdge CG319X displays the DCI 4K standard (4096 x 2160). It is ideal for creating, editing, and referencing 2D and 3D CGI, VFX, compositing, and color grading.
Wide color gamut according to established industry standards
This wide-ranging display reproduces 98% of the DCI-P3 standard used in digital cinema and supports the Rec.2020 standard used in broadcasting. Additionally, it covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, ensuring that images captured in Adobe RGB are displayed correctly. The large color space also guarantees reproduction of nearly all ISO-coated and US web-coated CMYK color spaces used in printing.
True black display
In accordance with the DCI standard, the ColorEdge CG319X offers a high contrast ratio of 1500:1 to achieve true blacks, which are otherwise difficult to display on an LCD monitor. When viewing the display from an angle in a dim room, dark shades usually disappear due to the characteristics of the LCD backlight. The CG series is equipped with a special retardation film that helps the pigment retain its depth even when viewed from an angle.
10-bit simultaneous display
The ColorEdge CG319X offers a 10-bit simultaneous display from a 24-bit lookup table (LUT), meaning it can display over a billion colors simultaneously. This is 64 times more colors than an 8-bit display, resulting in smooth colors and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.
Broadcast and cinema presets
Preset modes for DCI-P3, Rec.709, and Rec.2020 ensure that you can work in appropriate color spaces and gamma values. Additionally, preset modes for PQ (DCI and Rec. 2100) and HLG (Rec. 2100) are available for viewing HDR content. The built-in calibration sensor allows you to conveniently adjust or maintain the brightness setting for each preset.
ColorNavigator 7 color management software
ColorNavigator 7 is the latest calibration and quality control software for ColorEdge displays. It combines all features of EIZO’s previous color management software, ColorNavigator 6 and ColorNavigator NX, to create a new and improved solution for creative work across multiple fields. The proprietary software makes calibration fast, easy, and delivers predictable results for photography, design, printing, and video work.
ColorNavigator Network Quality Control Software
ColorNavigator Network offers centralized quality control for ColorEdge displays equipped with ColorNavigator 7 or NX. Administrators can set color modes, schedule self-calibration, register or adjust asset management settings, and perform other tasks regardless of whether the displays are local or remote. ColorNavigator Network operates on a secure cloud server, freeing you from the initial investment and operating costs of your own server.
