Capture Smoothly and Effortlessly
The DJI RS 4 Mini is a new, compact, and lightweight gimbal designed specifically for content creators and independent videographers. Its automatic axis locks, intelligent tracking, Teflon™-coated enhanced balancing, and third-generation native vertical shooting make capturing footage more efficient and seamless.
Quick Setup and Easy Vertical Shooting
The RS 4 Mini is equipped with automatic axis locks that speed up the process of starting to shoot, transitions, and storage. The gimbal also folds down flatter, making it easy to pack into a bag. Switching to vertical shooting is quick: loosen and press one side of the knob, detach the horizontal axis, rotate it 90 degrees, and tighten it back in place.
Triple Ease of Balancing
The RS 4 Mini features a Teflon™ coating that reduces friction and makes balancing smoother. The tilt axis fine-tuning knob allows for precise millimeter-level balancing of the camera. The upper quick-release plate offers three positions that facilitate camera attachment and balancing.
Versatility
The RS 4 Mini can carry a load of up to 2 kg, making it ideal for mirrorless cameras like the Sony A7 series with a 24-70 mm F2.8 GM II lens. You can also use it with vlog cameras, such as the Sony ZV series. Additionally, you can quickly switch to a smartphone stabilizer with the new phone holder (sold separately).
Wireless Recording and Zoom
After pairing via Bluetooth, you can control the start/stop of recording on the camera or phone directly from the gimbal’s record button. The new zoom control feature allows for easy management of Power Zoom lenses and the Clear Image Zoom function with the control stick.
Intelligent Tracking
The DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module (sold separately) assists novice videographers with intelligent tracking and composition. It keeps the subject centered in the frame, which is especially useful for tracking shots and backward tracking shots. The module supports tracking up to 10 meters and operates reliably even in complex environments.
Robust Stabilization
The RS 4 Mini utilizes a fourth-generation RS stabilization algorithm that provides an excellent balance between stabilization force and camera movement feel. Additionally, the RS 4 Mini offers improved stability in vertical shooting and facilitates capturing dynamic shots, such as running or low-angle shots.
Long Battery Life and Fast Charging
The battery lasts up to 13 hours and supports fast charging: a 30-minute charge provides up to 5 hours of usage time.
