The DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 is an additional module for Osmo Mobile gimbals that brings advanced subject tracking, gesture control, and adjustable fill light together in a compact unit. The module utilizes the device’s own AI, making tracking smooth and reliable without relying on the phone’s performance.
The module connects directly to the gimbal’s roll axis USB-C port. The rotatable quick-release makes installation fast and effortless, and the design is fully compatible with all DJI OM magnetic mounts as well as the Magnetic Quick-Release Mount.
The integrated AI enables smooth and responsive tracking directly through the module. It can track people, cats, dogs, vehicles, and also common objects. In object tracking, the target is selected manually, and tracking performance depends on the size and contrast of the object against the background.
Gesture control makes shooting effortless without touching the device, especially suitable for solo filming. The built-in fill light offers eight brightness levels and eight color temperatures, allowing lighting adjustment according to the situation and environment.
