The new version of the DJI Mic 2 features updated transmitter units with 2.4 GHz digital wireless and Bluetooth technology. With Bluetooth, you can connect the transmitters to the DJI Mimo app on iOS or Android devices. You can even connect directly to your Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 4 camera. You can adjust various settings through the Mimo app, such as intelligent noise reduction, which reduces ambient noise to improve audio recording, or 32-bit float audio recording*
Note, currently (01/2024) the DJI Mic 2 does not support Apple’s native camera app directly. You can download the free Blackmagic Camera app for iPhone and use the microphone through it.
32-bit recording works only with internal recording. Internal recording is not active when the device is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
