The Beurer FT100 infrared thermometer is a convenient, safe, and hygienic solution for measuring fever. It is ideal for measuring the temperature of babies and toddlers, as it operates without skin contact from a distance of 4–6 cm from the forehead. The distance sensor ensures you measure the temperature from the correct distance. You get an accurate and reliable result quickly without stressing the feverish child. The measurement takes a few seconds, and the device emits a beep when the result is ready. You can also turn off the beep if desired. The device has 60 memory slots for measurement results. A clear backlit display and informative indicator lights show the measurement results. If the measured temperature is below 37.5 °C, a smiling emoji appears on the screen, and the device’s green indicator light turns on. If the temperature is between 37.5–37.9 °C, the yellow indicator light warns of elevated body temperature. If the temperature exceeds 38 °C, a sad emoji appears on the display, and the red indicator light warns of a fever.
